The Biochemistry and Biotechnology program, offered through the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry, is designed to provide extensive training for students in both the theory and practice of biotechnology including the development first-rate biotechnology laboratory techniques. This program is given in close collaboration with a parallel program offered through the Department of Biological Sciences.
The program also has the flexibility to permit pre-professional oriented students to participate without diminishing the set of credentials required for admission into various professional programs (i.e. medical and dental).
