| Description: |
In this program, students learn the basic fundamentals of diesel engines, power trains, electrical systems, hydraulic systems and brake systems. In the heavy duty equipment industry employment opportunities exist as an apprentice mechanic or as a parts or salesperson. Students successfully completing the Heavy Equipment Techniques program may continue into semester 3 of the Heavy Equipment Technician program.

Grade 12 English
Grade 11 Mathematics
