The two-semester English as a Second Language program is designed to meet the needs of Canadian and international students whose mother tongue is not English. At present, the College focuses on the intermediate level, from low to advanced. With more than 20 years of experience in teaching ESL, the college has a well established reputation for delivering quality education in a caring and supportive environment.
When you complete all courses in the program with a final grade of A, B or C, you will receive a certificate from the College. If you graduate from the program with an academic average of A or B, you are considered to be functionally bilingual and able to successfully complete most post-secondary programs in English-speaking institutions.
Ontario Secondary School Diploma at or above the general level or its equivalent.
