Human Kinetics School: University of Ottawa/Université d'Ottawa Faculty: Faculty of Health Sciences Degree: Bachelor ; Honours Field of Study: Kinesiology and Exercise Science Description: The Honours Bachelor in Human Kinetics emphasizes the social sciences and humanities perspective of human kinetics, thus revolving around the disciplines of sociology, psychology, pedagogy, leisure and administration. At the same time, you gain an understanding of the basic biophysical aspects of human movement. You can explore a number of areas in this program, including: a) community recreation and sport, b) socio-cultural studies in leisure and sport, c) sports and leisure management, d) coaching in sports, e) outreach work in schools and other settings, and f) psychology / consultation in sport, physical activity and health. The French immersion stream is available with this program.
