Description: Explore environmental degradation and its impact on both living species and natural systems. The program provides education and technical training in environmental and microbiological sampling, testing, auditing, analysis and research. In this unique joint program, students have the opportunity to earn a B.Sc degree from U of T Scarborough and an Environmental Protection Technologist Diploma from Centennial College. U of T Scarborough academic courses teach students theory fundamentals, analytical skills, and research methods. Centennial College courses teach traditional practical skills necessary for applications in the environmental and industrial settings. Develop into a qualified scientist with excellent field and laboratory experience who is able to understand and manage complex environmental problems within the framework of current legal statues and regulations.

Environmental Science & Technology is offered as a Specialist program. This program is not direct entry from high school. Students must complete a minimum of one year post-secondary studies.

  • Grade 12 Calculus and Vectors
  • Grade 12 Chemistry
  • Grade 12 Biology

A Supplementary Application Forms (SAF) is required for all programs except for the Concurrent Education Programs (which require an Applicant Profile). Get the SAF as soon as possible to allow sufficient time to complete and submit the form.
