Description: Attain an integrated view of science by examining a closely related group of topics with an emphasis on coordination among traditional subject areas. Physical Sciences is intended for students desiring a general background in the physical sciences (with an emphasis on astronomy, physics and physical chemistry) but who do not intend to pursue graduate studies.

The overall purpose of the co-op programs in Natural Sciences is to provide education and training which will produce highly qualified scientists with excellent field and laboratory experience, with a view to future employment in consulting, government, non-governmental organizations and research and teaching. Co-op Physical Sciences is offered as a Major Program.
