Engineering is a dynamic and demanding profession, integral to virtually all aspects of modern life. Students examine technical problems to find solutions for difficult challenges relating to the environment, productivity, information technology, communications, transportation and more. Students gain the skills needed for lifelong exploration in a field that tackles some of today’s most pressing concerns. The Faculty of Engineering offers undergraduate studies in 10 accredited disciplines. Upon successful completion of the first two years of study, students can apply to one of our specific Engineering disciplines.
Materials Engineering is the driving force behind metals and materials production and development. Developing new, advanced materials is truly a global issue, with society’s increasing demands for more fuel efficient vehicles, faster computer processors and more.

One additional university preparatory course is also required. A minimum grade of 70% is required in Grade 12 English. A minimum overall average of 70% is required in the final year of secondary school.
