The Police Foundations program provides persons seeking a career in policing with a combination of academic and generic skills training as preparation for potential employment with a police service in Ontario and related national services. The program consists of four semesters that compliment subject matter covered by the Ontario Police College.

Grade 12 English
Grade 11 Mathematics
For graduates of the new curriculum (OSS): Ontario Secondary School Diploma (30 credits) or equivalent or mature student status, including: - any grade 12 English (C), (U) or (M) - any grade 11 mathematics (C),(U) or (M) Recommended: - grade 11 physical education (O) - computer competency in relevant software
For graduates of the old curriculum (OS:IS): Ontario Secondary School Diploma (30 credits) or equivalent or mature student status, including: - any 2 senior level English (general or advanced) - any senior level mathematics (general or advanced) Recommended: - any senior level credit in physical education (general or advanced) - computer competency in relevant software - Criminal record check is required for field placement opportunities.
