| Description: |
The two-year Business diploma program is designed for students who prefer a general education in business with a specialization in customer service. The curriculum in this program is designed to introduce the students to the following areas of business - accounting and finance, marketing, computer processing, entrepreneurship, and customer service.
Students are registered into a common Business first semester. Following successful completion of the first semester, students enter their concentrated area of study.
Upon completion of the Business curriculum, graduates will have studied how to organize business assets and motivate employees for the purpose of serving customer needs and will possess a combination of theoretical knowledge and current practical skills.
All two-year Business students are required to participate in a compulsory work placement in the fourth semester. It consists of an unpaid work experience. The actual placement will be arranged through the coordinator of field placement. The exposure to the working world allows students to put into practice their recently obtained skills and knowledge.
