| Description: |
At Windsor, you can choose Women's Studies as your major or minor in either the three- or four -year program. Students enrolled in the four-year program may choose to major in Women’s Studies on its own or in conjunction with another discipline. Joint degrees with Psychology, History, Communications Studies, and Criminology are popular. Particularly attractive − and unique to Windsor − is our Bachelor of Social Work in Social Work and Women’s Studies (B.S.W.), a double major that equips you to qualify as a registered social worker in Ontario.
Whichever program you follow, a degree in Women’s Studies is practical education. A major in Women's Studies is excellent preparation for careers in social services, business, law, health, education, politics, and many others. Graduates of Women's Studies are employed in both the public and private sectors as administrators, social workers, managers, elementary school teachers, early childhood educators, homemakers, lawyers, politicians, midwives: almost any occupation you can imagine.
