Les modules/programmes French, Langue, et civilisation françaises, sont destinés aux étudiantes et aux étudiants anglophones. For anglophone students, Laurentian offers a B.A. in French language and civilization which combines language, literature, and linguistics courses. This program is designed primarily and specifically for students who do not have a cultural background in French, but there is nothing to prevent the strong student from taking courses in Études françaises, with the concurrence of the Chair of the Department.
