The Honours Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology (B.Sc. Kin.) is a program designed for students interested in studying the scientific principles underlying the foundation of human movement. Specifically, students study anatomy, physiology, exercise physiology, biomechanics, motor control, ergonomics, and exercise prescription.
Through required field internships and a research thesis, students have an opportunity to apply this foundation in three distinct areas of kinesiology practice: rehabilitation, ergonomics, and/or gerontology. Furthermore, graduates of the program are immediately eligible to apply for certification with the Canadian Kinesiology Alliance and become qualified to begin work as a Certified Kinesiologist.
