Classics and Classical Lang., Lit., and Linguistics, Gen.
Philosophy
Description:
Unlock the secrets of Western civilization. Benefit not only from small classes, but also from resources such as a slide library containing over 40,000 images (one of the largest in the world), a departmental reading room, and an on-campus museum with artefacts from the classical Mediterranean world. The classics programs give you a broad educational foundation that can lead to a rewarding career in virtually any field. The classics program has mandatory courses in Greek and Latin, but students in the classical studies program, or from other programs, may choose some of these language classes as electives.
These courses are intended as guidelines. Speak to your guidance counsellor to see what courses are offered at your school.
