Description: The Environmental Science Bachelor of Science degree is an interdisciplinary one in which students take a core curriculum in the environmental sciences with a focus in the area of their choice. Students in this degree will gain an appreciation of the fundamental biological, chemical and physical and applied aspects integral to the field of environmental science. In addition, they will receive exposure to the human dimensions that underlie many of these issues. This approach will ensure a uniform preparation among students and allow for the development of a diversity of expertise necessary to address the complexity of present environmental problems and future unanticipated ones.
