Accounting (B.B.A.) School: Bishop's University Faculty: The Williams School of Business Degree: Bachelor ; Co-op ; Honours Field of Study: Accounting Description: This concentration focuses on the compilation, presentation and use of financial information by groups such as management, owners, investors, employers, government and other public bodies. Student's analytical and decision-making skills are developed using financial statements and other accounting models. To achieve this, courses in the basic areas of financial and managerial accounting are offered, together with a variety of specialized courses in taxation, auditing, etc. These courses prepare students wishing to become professional accountants (C.A., C.M.A., C.G.A.) as well as providing the basis for a variety of other business designations (C.I.M., C.B.I., etc.).
