Theatre and Film School: The University of Winnipeg Faculty: Faculty of Arts and Science Degree: Bachelor Field of Study: Dance, General Drama and Dramatics/Theatre Arts, General Film/Cinema Studies Description: The Department of Theatre and Film at the University of Winnipeg offers a full program of undergraduate and pre-professional training for theatre and film artists and practitioners. Students may choose between two streams of study: Theatre and Film, and Dance. Theatre and Film courses in acting/performance (including musical theatre and directing), design, drama in education, filmmaking, playwriting, and stage management and production. The Dance stream is a joint program between The University of Winnipeg and The School of Contemporary Dancers in Winnipeg. It offers an intensive education in modern dance technique and performance in preparation for a professional career in dance.
