Through the lens of humanities studies, you will zero in on historical and contemporary themes. Explore how themes are expressed, refracted, and reflected through a range of cultural forms such as cinema, music, various forms of popular culture and literary studies . Theoretical courses will delve into the core of ideological "meaning" in culture, analyzing the social, economic and political contexts in which culture manifests itself.
Culture & Expression prepares students to pursue careers in the cultural industries, as well as education, publishing, marketing, and any profession or field that requires an awareness and appreciation of human creativity and diversity.
