For those interested in performing, the Acting Programme at Dalhousie is a dynamic and intensive professional actor training program. Offered as a four year B.A., students audition at the end of their first year to gain admittance into the programme, and from there experience a course of study that is progressive in nature and culminates in performance in four full-scale DalTheatre productions in the final year. Classical and contemporary acting, dance, movement, voice and speech, mask, singing, and audition techniques are among the subjects offered. Our graduates are working actors on stages and film sets around the world.
