| Description: |
This program teaches both the theory and practice of heating, air conditioning, refrigeration, air handling, electricity and control systems. Emerging renewable energy technologies are highlighted and energy efficiency principles are applied to all studies. Building systems software training is included. Practical hands-on experiences exist throughout the program.
Opportunities for co-op placement and involvement with employers throughout the entire building industry are integrated into the program.
Use your existing post-secondary education in Mechanical Engineering or a directly related Technology discipline to apply for the fast track assessment of your credentials. Qualify and you may gain direct entry into the second year of this program.

Grade 12 English
Grade 12 Mathematics
Ontario Secondary School Diploma with a majority of senior credits at the College Preparation (C), University Preparation (U) or University/College Preparation (M) level or Mature Student Status (age 19 or older)
Grade 12 English: ENG4(C) or ENG4(U)
Grade 12 Mathematics*: MCT4(C) Mathematics for College Technology (recommended grade 60% or over) or Grade 12 (U) Mathematics, MHF4(U) (Advanced Functions) or MCV4(U) (Calculus and Vectors)
Good grades in MAP4(C) or MCR3(U) may be considered.
