Studies in French allow for a wide range of interests: the enhancement of practical language skills; the study of how the language is structured and how it evolved and spread; the development of approaches to the teaching of French; and the exploration of the rich literature and cultures of the francophone world.
Students may wish to take courses as a part of a general education, in anticipation of the usefulness of certain courses in future occupations or professions, or as part of a Minor Program.

Grade 12 French
One of Grade 12 Core French FSF4U or Extended French FEF4U or French Immersion FIF4U is also required. Please refer to website for more information. A Supplementary Application Forms (SAF) is required for all programs except for the Concurrent Education Programs (which require an Applicant Profile). Get the SAF as soon as possible to allow sufficient time to complete and submit the form.
