Western’s American Studies program is one of only a handful in Canada. This innovative interdisciplinary program introduces students to the social, political, historical, and cultural dimensions of the United States in an effort to better understand the meaning and significance of the American identity. It also examines America’s role in the world and its relationship with other countries.
