Description:
The four-year Bachelor of Business Administration - Accounting Major (BBA) is a four year program—you have the option of full- or part-time studies with courses offered weekdays, evenings, and Saturdays to suit your life schedule. Admission to the BBA program is at the start of Year 3, after the completion of the Diploma in Business Administration - Accounting Option.
The program includes all the courses needed to enter the Chartered Accountant School of Business, the CGA Pace Level Program, and the CMA Strategic Leadership Program. The BBA program is fully endorsed by Canada’s three professional accounting bodies: the CA, the CMA and the CGA.
Co-operative education enables students to connect their classroom studies to the real world by gaining work experience related to their program area. Students pay tuition and receive college credit for the work term, and they are required to submit assignments demonstrating their achievement of academic, professional, and personal learning objectives.
Admission to the BBA program is at the start of Year 3. Students may begin by completing the Diploma in Business Administration Accounting in Years 1 and 2. Submit proof of a letter grade of “C+” or higher in Math 12 or equivalent and completion of 20 of the 40 courses required for the degree with a minimum GPA of “B-” (70%) in the 20 courses. The 20 courses required for admission to the Bachelor of Business Administration program must include 13 courses listed on Web site.
