Description: Ever wonder why volcanoes erupt? Where to find diamonds? Why our climate is changing? Earth Sciences play a crucial role in understanding today's changing world. It's the integrated study of the Earth's evolution, composition, processes and future.

Field work is an important part of this program. You might explore the fascinating and diverse geology of Nova Scotia, or take part in an off-site computing camp. An advanced field school provides in-depth study of environmental science challenges in countries such as Italy, Chile and England, and the petroleum field program takes students to Trinidad to study active petroleum systems.
