| Description: |
What are the rights and responsibilities of a citizen in the new millennium? How do organized power structures shape your present and your future? Our Political Science program analyses the use of power within Canada and other countries, and on the global level. In your first year, you will take all three 100-level courses: Canadian Politics, World Politics, and Comparative Politics.
In our Bachelor of Arts program, faculty members who are active scholars and devoted teachers offer students individual attention and close supervision. In our upper year seminars, students learn about the nature of power through developing research techniques, critical thinking skills, and argumentation and presentation techniques. Writing skills are developed and refined in the preparation of course papers.
