Memorial University's Department of Political Science prides itself on strong teaching, being open and responsive to students and, where possible, getting to know them. Our areas of research specialization include Newfoundland, Canadian, International, European, Latin American, and American politics, political behaviour, political theory and the politics of public policy.
Undergraduate students can choose to major or minor in Political Science or complete a B.A. (Honours) in Political Science. Students can also gain job experience by enrolling in a local work internship for a semester. They can even spend a semester on an international exchange in Europe.
