| Description: |
Kinesiology is the science of human movement. It incorporates men and women of all ages and conditions, in all life settings (home, school, community, workplace) and domains (transport, leisure, work), with an integrated approach to disease prevention, health promotion and social development. It is a multi-disciplinary field of research and practice encompassing a wide-spectrum of scientific disciplines including exercise physiology, motor control and ergonomics, sport psychology, and adapted physical activity.
Kinesiology degrees are designed to prepare graduates for careers in ergonomics, fitness, health and wellness, and lifestyle professions. The kinesiology degree programs consist of core courses as well as a flexible choice of electives. Please see the program web page for curriculum details.
