The University of Windsor has one of the most internationalized student bodies in Canada. Through our International Student Centre (ISC), we are committed to facilitating your well-being, to make UWindsor feel like your home away from home! The ISC guides and supports students starting before arrival on campus — right up to graduation.

The Soft Landing Program for new international students follows a series of four steps to ensure your arrival in Canada is as simple as possible. The process starts with determining how you will arrive in Windsor, Ontario, Canada, through to finding accommodation for your stay. Make sure you stop by and visit the International Student Centre as soon as you arrive. Our student assistants will welcome you and provide you with a welcome package along with answering any questions you may have.

Shortly after your arrival in Canada, the International Student Centre offers Student Orientation. Our new students receive valuable information to help you succeed in your new program. University's administration, faculty and volunteer students provide a warm welcome through various activities, information, prizes, and games. This is a great chance to make new friends.
