Exciting student social life

University can be a big place, so that's why York is one of the only universities in Canada that has a college system. The college system nurtures a feeling of community among students, particularly making international students feel like they're at home . All undergraduates are assigned to a college as their "home base" to study, hang out and feel part of a close-knit group within the York community.

York's 300+ official student clubs, such as the International Students' Association at York, provide new students with the perfect chance to meet new friends and enjoy an extracurricular activity that suits their interests. You can also track your campus involvement on your York Co-Curricular Record, which is a great addition to your resumé.
