The explosive growth of craft breweries around the world is creating a huge demand for educated, trained brewers. Kwantlen Polytechnic University (KPU) is the only institution in BC to offer a university diploma in brewing with our own on-site brewery where students gain practical, hands-on experience. Students also learn the art, science and business of brewing in this comprehensive, two-year program. Learn more about KPU's exciting Brewing and Brewery Operations Diploma (BBOD) on April 17 when we'll be hosting two online information sessions.

During the information sessions, you'll hear from our Brewing instructors, admissions coordinator and current students to find out what's included in the program, what it takes to get in, how to be successful in it, and what types of careers are available in the industry. You'll also have an opportunity to ask questions during the live sessions and we'll take you on a virtual tour of KPU's state-of-the-art microbrewery.

We're also very proud that our students won bronze at the 2017 BC Beer Awards, and gold and silver medals in the 2017 US Open College Beer Championship.
