The Academic Leadership Institute is offering 4.5-day case-based summer program around four themes relevant to today’s academic leaders:
The objective of the summer program is to provide academics in senior administrative roles a program designed as both a training opportunity and collective research endeavour.
Structured around four thematic cases prepared and presented by senior academic leaders based on their professional experience, participants will work through the cases – a different one each day and building on the previous day’s program – and reflect on their lived professional experience with the subject matter.
Drawing upon their individual leadership styles and with the help of peer-coaching sessions, participants will leave prepared to design new initiatives in their home institutions.
Given the Institute’s focus on collaborative exchange, the schedule includes unstructured time for group conversation, remote work, and ample free time to enjoy the many activities that take place in Montreal during the summer.
Event Type: Information Session - Conference
