You are welcome to attend this event if you are:

• A high school student
• Transferring from college or university
• Thinking about applying to UBC
• Waiting for an admission decision from UBC
• Studying an International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum

What to expect:

A chance to find out more about the UBC Okanagan BFA and BMS programs, learn more about the portfolio requirements and get advice on building an entrance portfolio.

Portfolio Day is a chance to get advice on building an entrance portfolio, or obtain pre-approval for the portfolio requirement for the Bachelor of Fine Arts, or the Bachelor of Media Studies at UBC Okanagan.

At this session, you will learn more about the application process, portfolio requirements for BFA and BMS programs, and have questions answered. For this event, participants will be assigned a 20 minute timeslot and will have the opportunity to show your work to our program coordinator and receive feedback. Over the course of the day, you will have 20 minutes of one-on-one time with a portfolio reviewer to offer feedback on your portfolio and the chance for early approval.

Join us on January 18, 2025 between 10am and 3pm to meet with instructors about your BFA or BMS portfolio. If you are not available to come in person, we can schedule your time as a virtual session.
