The 2017 Maclean’s magazine university rankings were recently released, ranking Canada’s best universities in several categories. Each year, the Canadian magazine collects information on selected schools, conducts interviews with students, staff and faculty and publishes their findings. If you’re considering studying at an institution in the country, this may give you a great idea of how your choice measures up.

There are three categories of rankings: Comprehensive (all levels of higher education), Primarily Undergraduate (offering mostly bachelor degrees) and Medical/Doctoral schools. No matter what field you wish to study in, you will find beneficial information in these rankings.

These rankings are an often useful tool during the search for the right school. They are by no means an objective list of schools from best to worst, but rather a set of opinions that better help inform your decisions during the crucial application period. Make sure to read as much as possible about your options in order to make the best decision you can. Click on a link below to be taken to the rankings you’re interested in seeing – it’ll let you see how your top picks stack up against the rest. Happy applying!
