Description:Students who complete the Bachelor of Applied Arts in Film, Theatre, and Live Entertainment will be well prepared for entry level work as performers, directors, producers, or technicians in mid to large sized theatres, film sets, and production companies, and they will also possess the skills and attributes to collaborate with others in the creative arts to develop independent projects that serve the film, theatre, and live event needs of local industry.

Admission Requirements

Test Scores:
  • International English Language Testing System (academic or immigration) or Canadian Academic English Language Assessment or Test of English as a Foreign Language (Internet Based)

Minimum 60% in ELA 30-1 and a minimum 50% in a Group A, B, or C course.


Additional Requirements:


To be accepted in the Acting Major, student must have a successful audition and interview; to be accepted in the Film Production or Live Entertainment Production Major, student must have a successful interview. A 30-level Fine Arts course is recommended.
