Description:Redeemer students in Physical Education, Psychology, and Applied Social Science majors can complete the intensive recreation therapy program in the winter semester of their third year and the summer before their final year at Redeemer. Recreation therapy provides service to, and advocates for, individuals with physical, mental, social, behavioural, or emotional limitations through meaningful experiences in recreation and leisure in a variety of settings.

Right from the start, you're earning a degree that provides the depth, practical knowledge and skills, and the Christian perspective that will set you apart in the workforce. By partnering with Mohawk College in your third year, you can graduate with an additional diploma in Recreation Therapy, solidifying your skill set and preparing you to serve God by compassionately serving those with limitations through recreational activities

Recreation Therapy is a dual enrolment option offered in partnership with Mohawk College. Upon graduation students will have completed both a Bachelor's degree and a diploma.
