| Description: | Brescia Bold is Brescia @ Western's signature interdisciplinary learning experience for students who want an introduction to a top-notch post-secondary educational institution and the opportunity to hone their leadership, self-awareness, communication, and critical thinking skills. The program is led by Brescia's President, Dr. Lauretta Frederking, and provides students with content to help them bridge the gap between secondary and post-secondary school.

Brescia Bold Microcredential Course
Students will work through the 8 session program at their own pace through online asynchronous sessions. Registration can occur at anytime and students will be set up to begin the program within five business days. Brescia's President will host regular synchronous drop-in sessions throughout the program to support learning and development.
Brescia Bold Leadership Institute
Students will have a chance to meet participants from all around the world in this one week, in-person intensive Brescia Bold Leadership Institute. Pre-program preparation includes the completion of an online asynchronous course. Participating students can choose from commuter (for local to London, Ontario)* and residential registration options. Residential students will stay in Brescia's luxury modern residence, enjoy delicious meals and snacks prepared by Brescia's Executive Chef, and participate in evening programming led by the Institute programming team. |
