Description:Solve mobility challenges for all transportation system users through the design, construction and operation of vehicular traffic, public transportation and active transportation systems. Transportation Engineering Technology is a three-year Ontario College Advanced Diploma program offered at Mohawk's Fennell Campus in Hamilton, Ontario. Students in the program will learn about transportation networks, public transportation systems and their role in society, and develop the planning skills needed to make decisions about present and future transportation needs.

Admission Requirements

  •  Grade12 Mathematics 
Applicants are required to have an OSSD or equivalent (Mohawk Academic Upgrading, GED) including Grade 12 English, C or U or equivalent; and Grade 12 Mathematics; MAP4C ≥ 80% or MCT4C; or any U or equivalent. Applicants are also recommended to have Grade 11 Physics and Grade 10, 11 or 12 Design Technology. Please visit the website for complete program requirements.

Application Notes : All classes in Mohawk College are provided in English. Students whose first language is not English are expected to prove their proficiency with one of the following: successful completion of GAS-EAP (478) Program Level 8 with 70%; TOEFL minimum score of 550 (79-80 Internet based); IELTS minimum score of 6.0 overall with no band less than 5.5; or an Ontario Secondary School Diploma & English Credit (Grade 12 U, M or C) issued from a public school board.
