Lambton College's experienced faculty approach teaching from an inter-professional perspective. Hybrid courses and individualized programming offer flexibility for student learning and enhanced student success. Advances in technology and evidence-informed practice are integrated throughout the program.

Students within this program benefit from hands-on experience working in both lab and clinical settings. Lambton College's facilities include a Human Simulation Lab, where students work with mid and high-fidelity mannequins that can breathe, talk, produce vital signs and simulate the birthing process. Hospital and community placements help students to form a relationship with clients, and solidify their critical thinking skills and professional nursing practice.

Applicants are required to have O.S.S.D. or equivalent with a minimum grade of 60% in the following: Grade 12 English C or U; Grade 12 Mathematics C or U; Grade 11 or 12 Biology C or U; and Grade 11 or 12 Chemistry C or U. Mature applicants must be at least 19 years of age by the start of classes, be out of secondary school for at least one year and usually do not have a high school diploma. Mature applicant assessment for this program is available in the Counselling Department in the subject of English. The assessment(s) will determine proficiency in required admission subjects.
