Prerequisites:*	These courses are intended as guidelines. Speak to your guidance counsellor to see what courses are offered at your school. Applicants are required to have high school graduation (Grade 12). Applicants are also required to have English Studies 12 (C), English 12 (C) or English 12 First Peoples (C) or EDT (ENGL 100-level placement); and Principles of Math 11 (C) or Pre-calculus 11 (pass) or Foundations of Math 11 (C) or BMTH 044 (C) or BMTH 048 (C) or MATH 096 (C) or MATH 097 (C) or Applications of Math 12 (pass) or Foundations of Math 12 (pass) or Principles of Math 12 (pass) or Pre-calculus 12 (pass) or BMTH 054 (pass) or BTEC 115 (B-).
Application Notes :	English is the language of instruction at CapU. All applicants are required to demonstrate competence in the English language prior to admission. If English is not your first language or you've received your education in a language other than English, you must meet our English Language Requirements.
Additional Admission Requirements:	The School of Tourism Management welcomes students with previous tourism management, hospitality management or related disciplines to apply for direct entry into the Bachelor of Tourism Management. Your institution may already be part of our articulation network; to find out please visit www.bctransferguide.ca and search block agreements or course by course. Direct Entry Students who have completed 30 credits or a 30-credit tourism management, hospitality management, or related certificate can apply for direct entry into the second year of the Bachelor of Tourism Management. Students are to have a minimum CGPA of 2.0 and meet program entry requirements. Students who have completed 60 credits or a 60-credit tourism management, hospitality management, or related diploma from a recognized post-secondary institution can apply for direct entry into the third year of the Bachelor of Tourism Management (BTM) program. Students who were admitted into their home institution with an IELTS or equivalent of 6.0 or higher and studied in English for the duration of the program are deemed to have met the ELR for the BTM. Students are to have a minimum CGPA of 2.0 and meet the program requirements. Current Grade 12 students can be conditionally accepted based on final Grade 11 grades or interim Grade 12 grades. Students can upload proof of grades (e.g. unofficial transcripts, copies of report cards) through EducationPlannerBC when applying to Capilano University. Final acceptance will be based on high school graduation and having met the program specific requirements. Note: All B.C. applicants must release their grades to CapU via the BC Ministry of Education at Student Transcripts Services (STS). Please do this as soon as possible.
