Description:The Residency in Otolaryngology at the University of Western Ontario is a five-year program. During the first 14 months, trainees receive core surgical training to provide a solid background in the principles of surgery related to Otolaryngology. This is a fully integrated program involving all of the major teaching hospitals in London . Residents are expected to pass the Principles of Surgery (POS) examination of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons after they have completed the first two years of the program.
