Description:This interdisciplinary program will build both theoretical and practical knowledge and skills. The program will provide solid grounding in environmental studies and sustainability, learning theory, environmental education, educational program development, philosophical and cultural analysis, journalism and communications.

The program complements, and builds on expertise in related existing degree programs at RRU in Environmental Management, Environmental Science, Conflict Resolution, Leadership and Training, and Distributed Learning.

    Applicants must have an undergraduate degree or establishment of equivalency through the University's flexible assessment policies and with approval of the Director of the School of Environment and Sustainability, competency in the English language and a minimum of two years of demonstrable experience in the field of environmental education and/or communication.
