Admission Requirements

Prerequisites:*These courses are intended as guidelines. Speak to your guidance counsellor to see what courses are offered at your school.
    Students must be registered as a 1st period apprentice by Alberta Apprenticeship to qualify for this program. Those who are interested in becoming a Welding Apprentice must meet the following: Route 1: Applicants must have completed Grade 9; Route 2: Applicants must have received a passing mark on the Apprenticeship Level 2 Entrance exam. Applicants must also be hired as an apprentice with an approved employer.
