In addition to course work, internships and field trips provide practical, hands-on skills and experiences. The program introduces students to principles and practices for building environmentally sustainable societies and lifestyles by examining the causes of environmental harm, and exploring theories, policies, techniques and management approaches that support the restoration of our planet.

Through King’s ENVS programs, students develop skills such as mapping, geographical information systems (GIS), environmental impact assessment, policy analysis, statistical analysis and strong oral and written communication.
