Description:Learn the techniques of financial management, financial planning, and financial controls. This one year (30 weeks) Certificate program provides you with knowledge of manual and computerized accounting. Learn how to operate a complete set of books and prepare financial statements. Graduates of this program are qualified for entry-level positions in accounting and bookkeeping firms, financial institutions, governments, industry, and the not-for-profit sector. You will find employment as an accounting assistant, payroll clerk, accounts receivable/payable clerk, and accountant for small- and medium-sized firms.

The Business Administration Certificate (formerly the Accounting and Financial Management Certificate) program is also available online. The online courses offer the flexibility to study at home. As you work through a course, your instructor will be available to answer questions, explain concepts and provide continuous support and feedback via e-mail.
