| Description: | Animals need care and lots of love. A Veterinary Technical Assistant does both and most importantly enjoys working with dogs and cats. In as little as four months you could receive a Veterinary Technical Assistant certificate and start a career making money doing something about which you are passionate. This is an entry level program that introduces students to the veterinary industry and animal care. The Veterinary Technical Assistant is a valued member of a veterinary practice team and works along-side veterinary professionals, Animal Health Technicians and shelter staff in the small animal industry.
