|Description:||Earn the credential you need to work with children, youth and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorders. The Post-Baccalaureate Diploma in Applied Behaviour Analysis - Autism provides students with existing baccalaureate degrees from an accredited university the opportunity to obtain an additional credential that would enable them to work with children, youth and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorders.
The coursework and experiential component of the Post-Baccalaureate Diploma in Applied Behaviour Analysis-Autism qualify students to write the professional certification exam of the Behavior Analyst Certification Board™ (BACB™) and then become a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst™ (BCaBA™).

- Test of English as a Foreign Language (Paper Based) [min. 560] or Canadian Academic English Language Assessment [min. 70] or Test of English as a Foreign Language (Internet Based) [min. 83] or International English Language Testing System (academic or immigration) [min. 6.5]
Capilano English Language Requirement for students whose primary language is not English: Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL): paper=560, internet=83, or English Language Assessment (ELA)=145, or International English Language Testing System (Academic IELTS)=6.5 overall, and no one score less than 6, or Canadian Academic English Language Assessment (CAEL)=70, or Pearson Test of English (PTE Academic)=56 or Capilano University EAP 100 and 101 with a minimum B+ grade in each course.

Applicants are required to have completion of a recognized Bachelor's degree in Arts or Sciences.
Applicants must submit one letter of reference, and one page letter of interest. It will be necessary to provide documentation of a minimum of 300 hours of experience as a Behaviour Interventionist prior to the September start of the program. Please contact the ABA-A program coordinator for assistance in obtaining work/volunteer experience. An interview is required.
