Description:The Bachelor of Music (Orchestral Instruments) program is designed to train professional musicians at the highest level. Each individual is encouraged to reach her or his potential as a performer through private lessons with renowned faculty, a dynamic small ensembles and chamber music program, as well as performing opportunities provided by School's several large ensembles, including: McGill Symphony Orchestra, Wind Orchestra, Baroque Orchestra, Contemporary Music Ensemble, Opera McGill,as well as a vast array of choral and jazz ensembles.

    A DEC in Music or equivalent. If you have a DEC in a field other than music, you must have the equivalent music prerequisites. No additional prerequisite courses are required. Audition and academic record determine admissibility. (Music does not use the Cote R).
