Admission Requirements

These courses are intended as guidelines. Speak to your guidance counsellor to see what courses are offered at your school.

    Allied University degree or college diploma in Health Sciences or Human Services (70% guideline) with at least one course in developmental or abnormal psychology. Attendance at program orientation is strongly recommended. iPads are required to be used in this program. Applicants should note that some employment opportunities require that certain physical standards must be met as a condition of employment. Proof of English proficiency for applicants where English is not their first language must be submitted to Ontario Colleges

    • Test of English as a Foreign Language (Paper Based) [min. 560] or International English Language Testing System (academic or immigration) [min. 6.5] or Test of English as a Foreign Language (Internet Based) [min. 83]
    Application Notes : All classes in Mohawk College are provided in English. Students whose first language is not English are expected to prove their proficiency with one of the following: successful completion of GAS-EAP (478) Program Level 8 with 70%; TOEFL minimum score of 550 (79-80 Internet based); IELTS minimum score of 6.0 overall with no band less than 5.5; or an Ontario Secondary School Diploma & English Credit (Grade 12 U, M or C) issued from a public school board.
