This program offers a good balance of business courses, giving you the opportunity to apply your Computing Science knowledge in any business environment. A strong Computing Science background gives you a better idea of what computing can deliver to business, and also lets you knowledgeably manage the vendors and IT groups.

The Bachelor of Science Specialization degree provides a focused education in one program. You will take most of your courses in your main subject area, and are expected to maintain a higher standard of academic achievement. A Specialization degree can provide the background to help you proceed to a higher degree, but its primary function is to provide a comprehensive education at the undergraduate level.

Preprofessional Study Time: 1 year. ★30 required (★ = units of course weight): CMPUT 114 and 115 (★6); or CMPUT 174 and 175 (★6), MATH 114, 115 (★6), Junior English (★6), Science option (★6). Approved option (★6) which may include CMPUT 272. Admission Selection: Competitive. Completion of a minimum of ★18 in each preceding Fall/Winter with a minimum GPA of 2.3; plus a minimum 2.3 GPA in all CMPUT courses successfully completed and eligible for transfer.
