Requirements for International Students

International applicants are required to have completed a preparatory program that leads to university entrance in their own country. Generally, an academic language arts course and a minimum of four additional university-preparatory courses are required. A university preparatory math course is required for students applying to the Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Business Administration programs. Students applying for our Bachelor of Science will also be required to have a university-preparatory course in Biology and Chemistry.

Secondary school applicants need to have achieved an average of 70% in their final year of schooling (5 best scoring academic subjects).

Applicants are required to provide English language test scores. Applicants should have a minimum IELTS score of 6.5 (or equivalent) for undergraduate programs or IELTS 7.0 (or equivalent) for graduate programs.

Procedure for International Students

  1. Completed and signed application form (Please contact international@crandallu.ca to receive an application form, or download from https://www.crandallu.ca/international-students/international-admissions/)
  2. Official transcripts from all institutions attended. If originally in another language, transcripts must be translated into English. International applicants should have all documents verified by World Education Services (www.wes.org). Course by Course evaluation is required for transfer or graduate applicants.
  3. English language test scores. Applicants should have a minimum IELTS score of 6.5 (or equivalent) for undergraduate programs or 7.0 (or equivalent) for graduate programs.
  4. Copy of valid passport
  5. Nonrefundable $100 CAD application fee. This fee may be paid to Crandall University through paymytuition.com
