Prerequisites NotesThere is no direct entry from high school into the Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy program. Students must first complete a year of university and take courses in English, Biology, Inorganic Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Mathematics and Statistics. In addition students need to write a letter of intent, stating their career goals, knowledge of the profession, related experience and reasons for applying. Admission to the program is competitive based on a student's performance in the required courses, their letter of intent and their overall academic record. Minimum GPA 3.5 out of 4.0.

DescriptionIn pursuing the BSc in Pharmacy, you move towards becoming eligible for a license to practice as a pharmacist. Subjects studied in pharmacy include the pharmaceutical sciences (pharmaceutics), pharmacokinetics, pharmacology, pharmacy practice, etc. Students gain experience through a coordinated experiential program in clinical and research work, as well as opportunities for international exchanges. A BSc (Pharm) degree takes four years, full-time to complete. This does not include the required pre-professional study.
